Dhinesh Babu Potnuru is a highly experienced product leader with over 7 years of relevant experience in the travel e-commerce and fintech space. He is currently serving as the Vice President of Product Management at INDmoney, a super money app that allows users to invest, track, save, and earn across all financial instruments. In this role, he is responsible for heading all the platforms and growth product teams at INDmoney, including user onboarding and KYC, referrals and rewards, payments, neo-banking, subscriptions, mobile apps platforms, communications, engagement, and gamification, credit card and lending products, and savings accounts tracking. Dhinesh is extremely passionate about solving problems related to user growth, engagement, and retention in the consumer space. He has expertise in various areas, including user growth, loyalty programs and retention strategies, GTM and product launches, mobile apps, customer experience, scalable backend infrastructure, and KYC and UPI platforms. Prior to joining INDmoney, Dhinesh has worked with several top companies, including MakeMyTrip, Goibibo, and PayU, where he served as an Associate Director of Product Management and Senior Product Manager. During his tenure at PayU, he scaled the monthly credit disbursal volumes by 4x and launched innovative products on merchant BNPL and credit on UPI. He also launched India's first credit on UPI transactions product to lacs of customers, which drives a significant amount of disbursals today and has an MoM retention upwards of 80%. Dhinesh holds an MBA in Marketing from SPJIMR, Mumbai, and a dual degree in Engineering in Computer Science from BITS-Pilani. He has a strong tech stack, including experience as a product manager, senior software engineer, mobile, Android, iOS, backend, infra, and data scientist. Dhinesh has several notable achievements, including launching and scaling to 1Mn+ neo-bank accounts and creating growth loops through India's first US Stocks Rewards program. He also improved the check-out payment success rate through new PG integrations, personalization, and the addition of new instruments like UPI 2.0. Dhinesh is a highly accomplished individual with a proven track record of success in the product management space.
